Maestros / Kenyukai uechiryu
Naha Shubukan dojo (opened since 1968), taught by three Uechi Ryu Karate Masters (students of Master Seiyu Shinjo from Kadena dojo). Nakahodo Tsutomu Sensei (10 dan Uechi ryu karate), Senaga Yoshitsune Sensei (10 dan Uechi ryu karate Kenseikai), Kiyohide Shinjo Sensei (10 dan Uechi ryu karate Kenyukai). Senaga Yoshitsune Sensei taught some students in this dojo, Matayoshi Kobudo. The classes were mainly taught by Nakahodo Sensei. In the photo we see Shinjo Kiyohide demonstrating a kick: jodan sokuto geri, to Master Senaga Yoshitsune, Sensei Nakahodo is watching, and Minoru Miyagi (he was the holder of 10th dan Uechi Ryu Karate Hozonkai) and Irei Seiki Sensei (he was the holder of 10th dan Uechi Ryu Ireikan Ramses Kurabu) are sitting on the floor behind him. All those in the photo are students of the Kadena dojo of Master Seiyu Shinjo.
